Women have not only staffed Tule Review, but they also make up a huge part of the creative output of Tule's twenty plus year history, having written many of the poems contained within the publication's pages. A female touch is also often clear in the artwork, layout, or design.

Featured readers at this event include TR founders Julia Connor and Mary Zeppa (Patrick Grizzell was the third founder). Other readers include women published in the latest issue, including prize winning poets Nanci Woody, Sibilla Hershey, and Judith Chibante. Past and present staff members, such as long time editor Linda Jackson Collins and Jack Kerouac prize finalist Laura Martin will join in with a reading of their own work. Some of the best work of TR past issues will be read by poets and contributing writers Sue Staats and Carlena Wike.

The event is FREE. There will be light refreshments provided before the reading, which commences at 7:00pm. No ticket is required for admission.
